Very inspiring. How long did it take you to complete this piece?

Operative: Yessir, now that I've killed off their only contact and have a whole fleet of battleships at my command, absolutely nothing can go wrong now.
Serenity: Surprise! We invited the entire reaver population to the party!
Operative:....HOLY SHAZNAK

Wow, taht's absolutely amazing. The black paper really gives it a bit more rough look - more realistic and stylistic I'd say (if you can put those two together? I don't know... lol) and the work on its own is very very awesome. My only criticism would be her hand to our left - something about it is missing the hand-like nature that you captured in her hand to our right.
Otherwise, very awesome

Wow!! Damn you and your artistic skills!! I checked it with the photo and it's perfect :D wow...
:iconthespinner:
wow. what a vibrant painting. the left hand bothers me a little as I feel it has too much white and not enough definition or dynamic bend in the fingers. it looks a little straight. at first the choice of blue bothered me, but it has such luminosity and vibration against the neutral background! and the way you acheived the neutral background brown, not by using a neutral colour, but using a blend of vibrant colours that canceled each other, but still left snatches of pure colour. I think the choice of pink was a really good one as it toned everything back to cool after the warm light tan.

I really like this picture alot. great use of pastels natural loose style.

get into the right mindset eh. you really know how to work pastel chalk. i cant use that shit at all
